Viviana Ley has been a client of Gila Rut since 2002. During these years, not only has her hairstyle evolved but so has her relationship with her stylists. She has shared stories of her family, professional goals, social and love life with us at Gila Rut. It is a pleasure to be a part of her life and to have the joy of seeing her every time she visits San Diego now that her professional career has taken her to New York.
What is your relationship with Gila Rut?
My relationship with Gila Rut is like no other. When I started going to the salon, it was a small room in Hillcrest, and I was graduating eighth grade. Now I live in New York. Despite having so many amazing salons here, I remain true to Gila Rut. I make an appointment every time I go to San Diego. They will always have my loyalty, because not only is their work exceptional, they’re a community. I’m friends with many of the stylists on social media, and I trust them very much.
How was it when you started coming to Gila Rut?
I received a hair treatment at Gila Rut to soften my hair as an eighth-grade graduation gift. I loved it, and the rest is history.
In what way have we impacted your style of hair or life?
It’s like my style is someone else’s. I have a lot of hair, and it is extremely curly and fluffy. It is (rather, it was) very difficult to comb my hair. I suffer more because the climate here (in New York) is much more humid, and I do the treatment less often. Now more than ever, I realize how much I depend on the treatments I receive at Gila Rut, and how it made my life easier.
Viviana Ley, a sido clienta de Gila Rut desde el año 2002. Practicamente desde su epoca de adolecente y ahora hecha toda una gran mujer. Durante estos años, no solo su estilo de cabello a evolucionado pero tambien su relacion con sus estilistas a crecido, floreciendo una bonita amistad. Intercambiando historias de su familia, metas profesionales, vida social y amorosa. Es un placer haber sido parte de su vida y tener la dicha de seguir viendola cada vez que visita San Diego, pues ahora su carrera professional la a llevado a la gran manzana.
Cual es tu relacion con Gila Rut?
Mi relación con Gila Rut es como ninguna. En verdad puedo tomarme la libertad de decir que nos vimos crecer. Era un salon pequeño en Hillcrest y yo una pequeña estudiante graduándose de 8vo. Ahora vivo en Nueva York y habiendo tantos salones increíbles aquí, sigo fiel a Gila Rut. Hago cita cada que voy a San Diego. Siempre tendrán mi lealtad, pues no solo su trabajo es excepcional pero es como si fuera una comunidad. Todos me conocen, soy amiga de varios en redes sociales, y confío muchísimo en ellos por la amistad que me han brindado.
Como fue que empezaste a venir a Gila Rut? Recomendacion? Comercial? etc.
Mi tia tenia el cabello igual de loco que yo y me regalo un tratamiento en Gila Rut para suavizar mi cabello de regalo de graduación y yo pues feliz, lista para lucirlo justo antes de entrar a la prepa.
De que manera hemos impactado tu estilo de cabello o vida?
Es como si fuera otra persona. Tengo mucho pelo, y es sumamente rizado y esponjado. Es (mas bien era) muy difícil peinarme. Ahorita que vivo fuera la sufro mas por que el clima aquí es mucho mas húmedo y me hago el tratamiento con menos frecuencia. Ahora mas que nunca me doy cuenta de cuanto dependo de ese tratamiento y como me hizo la vida mas fácil.
