Gila Rūt Aveda Salon opens second location in the new Otay Ranch Town Center mall. We are so excited to bring you the first upscale Aveda Lifestyle Salon in the South Bay. We open our doors on October 27, 2006 at 10:00. Please join us for the Center’s Grand Opening festivities Oct. 27, 28 & 29. We will be hosting our own Grand Opening the following weekend, November 5, 2006. Please join us from 5-8 for some great food, sprits and music. At 6:00 Mayor Steve Padilla of Chula Vista will host our very own ribbon cutting ceremony. In addition, we will be partnering with the Junior League of San Diego to raise money for their many generous projects. Each year their members contribute over 60,000 volunteer hours and raise more than $150,000 to support outreach programs and community assistance grants. All services booked and paid for that evening, will be donated to the Junior League of San Diego. We hope to raise over $5000. http://www.jlsd.org/
