Gila Rūt Aveda Salon was born in 1992, renovated/expanded in June of 2004. Since the beginning, we have established a reputation as the most progressive salon in San Diego. In fact, Gila Rūt Aveda Salon was voted “one of the top salons in San Diego” by‘ Sidewalk San Diego Magazine’. We have been named one of the 200 fastest growing salons in the country, 6 years running, by Salon Today Magazine. Gila Rūt Aveda Salon was conceived and molded by President and Artistic Director Keri Davis and ‘Mother,’ Carol Davis, CFO.
In 2006, Karla Lopez-Martinez partnered with Gila Rūt Aveda Salon to bring our brand to the South Bay. October 27, 2006 Gila Rūt Aveda Salon in Otay Ranch Town Center was opened.
Gila Rūt Aveda Salons Salon is totally committed to the interest and well being of it’s over Fifteen thousand clients and growing. Some of the many ways that we bring this commitment to life for our clients is through the complementary scalp, neck and shoulder massage that every client receives with their service, as well as either a quick-cleanse facial, or make up touch up when his/her service is finished.

Salon Today Top 200 List!
For the sixth year in a row, Gila Rūt was included in Salon Today's Top 200 Fastest Growing Salons. "Thank you for your support," says Keri Davis to all Gila Rūt clients.
Salon Today is a top business publication for the beauty industry. The top 200 salons on the list are selected from about 25,000 top-producing salons in the country. The magazine profiled the 200 top salons in its January 2005 issue.
