Karla has been with Gila Rut Aveda Inc. since 1999. When she started in this business as an assistant, she always knew she wanted to own her own salon someday. As Karla moved up through the company, from Assistant to Stylist, to Educational Director and Manager, it was an obvious progression to partner with the company to bring this amazing service to the South Bay. Gila Rut Aveda Opened in Otay Ranch Town Center October 27. 2006 and Karla has been off the ground running ever since!!! Her training has carted her all over the country. From technical training with Toni & Guy to business training with Aveda Business College. Karla’s passion for this business and her team is truly commendable!!!!
Karla moved to San Diego from Guadalajara, Mexico, when she was
nine years old. She always knew she wanted to do hair and make up.."My
passion is to guide and help my clients look and feel their best."
When Karla isn't colouring hair, managing her team or going to training,
she spends time with family and friends. She loves traveling and
cooking and has a keen interest in Modern and Mexican art.
